Quarantine Overview

Quarantine is a zombie-apocalypse slot from MrSlotty, released on 13 July 2021. It keeps things simple: five reels, three rows, 25 fixed paylines, an expanding wild on the middle reels, 10 free spins in which every win is tripled, and a card gamble after any win.

Survivors in a Ruined City

The reels sit inside a battered wooden frame with an oil lantern burning at each top corner. Behind them a city lies in ruins: fires burn in the rubble, broken beams stick out of the ground and silhouettes of the undead crowd the background. The art has a cartoon edge, which keeps the horror more fun than frightening.

The symbols are the survivors themselves – a woman soldier with a rifle, a cowboy in a wide hat, a bearded lumberjack with an axe and a bald brawler with a knife – plus blood-red A, K and Q royals. The wild is a boarded-up window with red planks nailed across it, and the scatter is a gold medallion with a biohazard sign, marked FREESPIN.

The Paytable

The paytable lists wins as multiples of the stake per line. For five of a kind:

• Woman soldier – 1,000 (500 for four, 200 for three).

What the Top Symbols Are Worth

Turning the paytable into money at our 0.50 line stake makes the scale clearer. Five wilds on a single line pay 1,500 – 120x the 12.50 total bet – and five woman soldiers pay 500, or 40x. Five cowboys are worth 250 (20x), while five Aces return just 40.

The Expanding Wild

The rules screen explains the wild: it substitutes for all regular symbols and expands on reels 2, 3 and 4, turning every position on that reel wild. Because it can only land on the three middle reels, one wild is enough to join the outer reels on several lines at once.

Free Spins with Triple Wins

The biohazard scatter pays anywhere on the reels. Three, four or five of them all award the same 10 free spins, and the rules add the important part: all wins during free spins are multiplied by 3.
