Ricko Galactico

Ricko Galactico Overview

Ricko Galactico is a space-farm video slot from Zeus Play, released on 23 February 2024. It is a classic 5×3 slot with 10 paylines, not a crash game, despite what some descriptions of it suggest. SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 95% and medium volatility, with stakes from 0.10 to 20 per spin. A maximum win is not published.

A Rooster in Orbit

The setting is a cheerful mix of farmyard and space race. Behind the reels there is a windmill, a red barn and hay bales under a blue sky, while the reels themselves are framed like a spacecraft panel, with red warning lights at the corners and the Ricko Galactico logo in chrome and purple letters. The hero is a rooster with an astronaut’s ambitions, and the whole art style is bright and cartoonish.

The Symbols

The premium symbols are the characters and their gear:

• A red-crested rooster with flying goggles, the most valuable character we saw on a winning line
• A rooster in a space helmet
• A ray-gun blaster
• A grinning alien planet and a flaming space creature
• A scatter featuring a pink-haired alien, labelled “SCATTER”

The low-paying symbols are big coloured card royals: A, K, Q and J.

The Rocket Wild

The wild is a rocket that fills an entire reel, with “WILD” written down its side and a moon at its base. In our screenshots it appeared on reels 2, 3 and 4, and on one spin all three middle reels turned into rockets at the same time. With a full-height wild in the middle of the grid, almost any symbol on the outer reels can complete a line, which is how the game produces most of its wins.

What Our Spins Showed

All of our screenshots were taken at a 20.00 stake:

• Four red roosters across the top rows paid 250.00 – 12.5x, the best win we saw.
• Three blasters joined by a rocket wild on reel 4 paid 200.00 – 10x.
• A rocket on reel 2 with a column of green Ks paid 100.00 – 5x.
• Another rocket-and-K combination paid 60.00 (3x), and a single rocket on reel 3 produced 40.00 (2x).

The pattern is clear: the rocket wild is present in nearly every paying spin, and the characters are what turn a small win into a double-digit one.

Playing at the Maximum Stake

One detail makes the screenshots easy to interpret: 20.00 is the highest bet the game allows, so every win above was recorded at the top of the stake range. That also puts the figures in proportion. The best line we saw, 250.00, is the same 12.5x at any stake – 1.25 at the minimum 0.10 bet – because all values scale with the bet. The balance meter moved between 2,460 and 4,920 across the session, which shows how the game swings even at medium volatility.

The Triple Rocket Spin

The most striking screenshot shows three rockets side by side on reels 2, 3 and 4, turning the whole middle of the grid wild. In that position, any matching symbol on reels 1 and 5 would complete every line that runs through both outer positions. On this particular spin, the outer reels held J symbols on reel 5 and a scatter and a rooster on reel 1.

Free Spins

SlotCatalog lists free spins among the features, together with additional free spins, a multiplier and expanding symbols. The alien scatter is the symbol that leads there. Our screenshots do not show the round itself, so we cannot describe its multiplier or the number of spins it awards.

How It Plays

With ten lines and a full-reel wild, Ricko Galactico feels busy for a 10-line game. Medium volatility means the wins arrive regularly without being tiny, and the maximum stake of 20 keeps it in the casual range. The 95% RTP is slightly below the modern average, which is common for Zeus Play’s classic-style titles.
