Rum Wheel Overview

Rum Wheel is a pirate-themed slot from Inbet Games, released on 14 July 2023 according to Inbet's own game catalogue. It runs on a classic 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, a wild bomb, and a bonus wheel that gives the game its name. A Beach Full of Pirates

The reels sit on a wooden frame on a tropical beach, with calm blue water and palm-covered islands behind them. A red parrot in a pirate hat perches on the left side of the frame. The symbol set is pure pirate lore: a bearded captain in a blue tricorne, a red-haired pirate woman, a green hat with a skull and a feather, a rum barrel, a hook hand and a pile of gold skull coins in several colours. The lower symbols are those coins, which fill a lot of space on the reels.

The Wild Bomb

The WILD is a round black bomb with a lit fuse, clearly marked with the word WILD. It steps in for the regular symbols to complete lines. In one of our spins a single bomb in the middle of the second reel helped a row of pirate hats reach four in a line.

What Our Spins Showed

All of our spins were played at a total bet of 10 (1 per line across the 10 lines), and the win messages under the reels show each line win separately:

• Four pirate hats with the wild bomb on one line paid 50 – five times the bet.
• Two bearded captains on the top row paid 25, or 2.5x the bet. The captain pays from just two symbols, which marks him as one of the premium icons.
• Three pirate hats on a V-shaped line paid 15, or 1.5x.

Every one of these was reported as “Win on 1 line”, so the numbers above are straight line pays at 1 credit per line.

How the Bonus Is Triggered

The bonus symbol is a golden ship's wheel with the word BONUS across it. In the screenshot that started our bonus, three of them landed on the first, third and fifth reels. Once the round begins, the reels fade out and the view moves to the beach, where a large golden wheel stands on a wooden pier.

The Rum Wheel

The wheel is split into narrow segments with cash values printed along each one. The values we could read on the wheel ran from 50 up to 2,500, with 100, 150, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 in between, plus a few picture segments. At our bet of 10, that means the wheel covers everything from 5x to 250x the stake.

A red pointer on the left marks the result. In our round it stopped on 750, and the reels came back with a large wooden plaque reading “BONUS WIN 750 TOTAL” – 75x the bet from a single spin of the wheel.

Why the Wheel Matters

With no free spins in the game, the wheel carries most of the upside. The line wins we saw were small and steady, between 1.5x and 5x, while the wheel result alone was fifteen times larger than the best line win. That split – frequent small line pays and a rare, much bigger wheel round – is the rhythm of the whole game.

Reading the Screen

Rum Wheel keeps the player informed through a message bar in the middle of the bottom panel. Before a spin it says “Please place your bet”, while the reels turn it reads “Good Luck!”, and after a line win it names the result, such as “Win on 1 line”. After the bonus it shows “Bonus win: 750”, and the same total appears on the wooden plaque over the reels. Winning lines are drawn across the grid and the matching symbols are lifted forward, so it is always clear which line paid. The balance on the left updates after each round.

The bottom bar shows the coin value (1 FUN in demo mode), the balance, the number of lines (10) and the bet (10).
