Shining Royal 40 is a classic fruit slot from GameArt, released on 5 March 2024. It runs on a 5x3 grid with 40 fixed paylines and keeps things deliberately simple: fruit and bells on the reels, a golden crown as the wild, and a pink star as the scatter. The Crown Wild

The red-and-gold crown marked WILD is the feature that drives almost every bigger win. In all of our screenshots it arrives as a full stack, covering an entire reel from top to bottom, and it appeared on the middle reels – reel 3 and reel 4. A whole wild reel is worth far more than a single wild on a 40-line game, because it sits on every one of the forty lines at once and can complete many of them in the same spin.

That is exactly what the screenshots show. With the crowns filling reel 4, a watermelon spin paid $45.00 on a $6 bet, and with the crowns on reel 3 a cherry-and-lemon spin produced a highlighted line of $21.00. A third spin with three plums and a crown reel on reel 4 showed a $24.75 line.

Line Values at a $6 Bet

At the $6 stake each of the 40 lines carries $0.15. A plain three-of-a-kind of golden bells across reels 1 to 3 paid $30.00, which is 5x the total bet or 200 times the line stake – one of the better ordinary wins in the game.

Because all 40 lines are always active, the only decision is the size of the stake. The line value is simply the total bet divided by 40, so every figure in this review scales in proportion if you play higher or lower than the $6 used in our screenshots.

Star Scatters

The pink star is the scatter, and it pays on its own regardless of the lines. In our screenshots the stars landed on reels 1, 3 and 5, and three of them produced a NICE WIN of $120.00 – 20x the stake. The same spin also showed the crown on reel 4, but the payout came from the stars.

No Free Spins

Shining Royal 40 has no free spins and no bonus round. Everything happens in the base game: stacked crown reels, scattered stars and the standard fruit lines. The Gamble Feature

After a win you can open the card gamble. The screen we captured started from a $30.00 win and offered two options:

A counter under the reels showed “You have 5 gambles remaining”, so a win can be doubled several times in a row – or lost in one wrong guess. The COLLECT button takes the win and returns to the reels.

Symbols and Design

The reels are set on a deep red background with a golden frame and the 40 LINES plaques on both sides. The symbols are the classic set – lemon, orange, cherries, plum, grapes, watermelon, golden bell and a dollar sign – drawn with a soft shine, and the winning combinations burst into flames. The crown and the star are the two special symbols.

GameArt released Shining Royal in several versions with different line counts. The 40-line edition gives more lines for the stacked crown reels to work on, while the smaller versions trade coverage for a lower cost per line. The core idea – fruit, crowns and star scatters – stays the same.

About the Demo

This page does not carry a playable demo. When we checked on 25 September 2026, GameArt’s demo server answered “Game 417 is not enabled” for Shining Royal 40, the same message we had earlier seen for Shining Royal 5, so there was no working free-play version to embed.
