Sky Coins Overview

Sky Coins is a coin-collecting slot from Booongo, released on 20 June 2024. It plays on a compact 3x3 grid under a night sky full of floating lanterns, and the whole game is built around golden coins that carry cash values and four fixed jackpots. Bets run from 0.10 to 60.

SlotCatalog does not publish an RTP or volatility rating for the game, so our data box leaves those open. The maximum win is shown in the game itself: the Grand Jackpot of 500x the bet. The numbers below come from our demo session at a bet of 50.

Four Fixed Jackpots

A bar above the grid shows the jackpots at the current bet: GRAND 25,000, MAJOR 2,500, MINOR 1,000 and MINI 500. At a bet of 50 that is 500x, 50x, 20x and 10x. The Grand is also the game’s ceiling – the jackpot itself is the maximum win.

Coin Values

The rules page lists the bonus values. Gold coins carry 1x–4x the bet, red coins 5x–9x, and special coins show MINI (10x), MINOR (20x) or MAJOR (50x). In our session we saw gold coins worth 50, 100 and 150, and a red coin worth 250 – 5x the bet.

The Bonus Game

Coins that land on the grid stay for the bonus game, which runs on respins. Before one round began, the intro screen showed how the coins can grow: a 9x coin upgraded to 60x, a MAJOR doubled to MAJOR x2, and the Grand Jackpot of 500x at the centre.

Our round filled eight of the nine positions with coins worth 50 to 650, and the respin counter ran down to zero with a total of 1,900 – 38x the bet. The balance moved from 700 to 2,600 over the round.

Buy Bonus

The Buy Bonus button offers two options at a bet of 50. The standard Bonus Game costs 1,500 (30x), and the Super Bonus Game costs 3,750 (75x) and promises more multipliers, with x2 and x3 coins shown on the offer card.

The Screen

A large red lantern hangs over the Sky Coins logo on the left, with the Buy Bonus button below it. The spin button, the turbo and sound controls and a respins counter sit on the right, and the balance, the bet and the total win run along the bottom. During the bonus the counter shows how many respins are left; in our round it ended at zero.

Jackpots Across the Bet Range

Because the jackpots are fixed multiples, their cash value follows the bet. At the minimum bet of 0.10 the Grand is worth 50 and the Mini 1; at the maximum of 60 the Grand reaches 30,000, the Major 3,000, the Minor 1,200 and the Mini 600. The 500x ceiling is the same at every stake.

Coin Values at a Bet of 50

Converted to the bet of 50 we played at, gold coins are worth 50 to 200 and red coins 250 to 450. The MINI, MINOR and MAJOR coins pay 500, 1,000 and 2,500. That matches everything we saw on the grid: the 50, 100 and 150 coins were gold, and the 250 coin was red.

Some coins in our bonus round were larger than a single coin can be – a 550 and a 650 among them. Those values fit the upgrades shown on the intro screen, where coins grow during the round, but the game did not show how each of them was built.

Another Round

Earlier in the session the game showed a last win of 1,800 at the same bet of 50 – 36x – with the balance at 2,200. Together with the 38x round above, it gives a sense of what a typical bonus pays when no jackpot coin lands: a few dozen times the bet, well below the 500x Grand.

Bought Versus Natural Bonus

At 30x the standard buy costs a little less than either of our two rounds returned, while the 75x Super Bonus needs a much better result to pay back. Both options can reach the jackpots, so the choice is between a cheaper entry and more multipliers.
