Space War OverviewSpace War is not a slot. It is a multiplayer shooting game from Funta Gaming, released on 14 May 2025, with a 97% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 15,000x the bet. Stakes run from 0.10 to 200.00. It is the fish-shooter format moved into orbit: you aim a cannon at a screen full of spacecraft and pay for every shot you fire. All figures below were read from demo play at stakes of 0.10, 100 and 200. Theme and GraphicsThe arena is deep space in full colour – a banded gas giant filling one capture, a ringed planet in another, nebulae in violet and teal behind everything, and asteroids drifting across the field. The targets are spacecraft rather than fish, and they come in formation: chains of blue-and-white fighters flying nose to tail, single red interceptors, and floating crystals in green, purple and amber scattered among them. Turret emplacements sit at the top and bottom edges of the screen – the player seats – each with its own credit meter and a stake stepper beneath it. The BossesSeveral distinct large targets appear across the captures, and they are clearly on a ladder of their own. The best of them is a vast luminous jellyfish drifting across the middle of the screen, trailing tentacles the width of the arena – a deep-sea creature relocated to vacuum, and the most striking thing in the game. Alongside it: an enormous gold dragon-ship with an ornate prow, an orange winged craft that fires a beam across the whole field, and an armoured mothership at the top edge. What the Targets PayThe clearest reading comes from the jellyfish going down. Two figures float over it as it dies – +1800 and +400 – while a separate panel in the bottom-right corner shows a crystal award of +25600. At the 100 stake showing on that capture, the crystal alone is 256 times the shot. The jellyfish hits are eighteen and four times. The auto-target panel puts numbers on the rest: four of the big targets are listed with ranges of 1000~15000 and 500~15000. Those are wide bands, which is where the high volatility rating comes from – the same creature can be worth a twentieth of what it paid last time. Choose What the Cannon ShootsThis is the feature that sets Space War apart, and most shooters have nothing like it. A panel headed “Please choose the automatic target” shows the creature roster in hexagonal tiles – crystals on the top row, bosses on the bottom – each with its payout range printed underneath. You tick the ones you want and the cannon ignores everything else. Reselect, Select all and Clear buttons sit around the grid, with a Start button to commit. Underneath are three more controls that belong in a trading terminal rather than an arcade: Auto Fire with a shot count (set to infinity in the capture), Stop When Credit ≥ at 500,001 and Stop When Credit ≤ at 480,199. That is a stop-win and a stop-loss, set to the credit rather than to a number of rounds. On a game where you can fire continuously, it is a genuinely useful piece of discipline built into the interface. Raid WarningOne capture catches a full-screen red alert: a warning triangle and the words RAID WARNING across the middle of the arena. It is the game announcing a wave event – the moment when the ordinary drift of fighters is replaced by something worth committing ammunition to. On a shared table, everyone seated sees it at the same time. How the Balance MovedThe credit readings across the session run 1,600.3, then 10,300.3 and 3,900.3 on the upper meter, with the lower one moving through 500,000, 489,200, 482,600, 479,200, 473,600, 421,800 and 394,600. That lower figure is the shape of a shooter in one line: a slow, continuous drain as shots are fired, punctuated by the large jumps when a boss or a crystal resolves. Roughly a hundred thousand credits spent across the captured run, against the 25,600 crystal and the jellyfish kills coming back. Who Should Play ItSpace War suits players who want to do something rather than watch something, and who like the idea of a shooter they can configure. A 97% RTP is high for any format, the artwork is genuinely spectacular, and the target-selection panel with its credit stops is more thoughtful than this category usually manages. What it is not is a game with a bonus round to chase. There are no free spins and no pay table in the usual sense – just a roster of targets with wide value bands, a cannon, and a 15,000x ceiling that belongs to one very good boss kill. Where to Play Space WarYou can try this game on SunClub Online Casino. There’s a unique casino bonus offer of 400% up to £1500 for a limited time.
