Steam Storm Overview

Steam Storm is a steampunk slot from Triple Cherry, released on 6 August 2023. It uses a classic 5x3 grid with 25 paylines, set inside a frame of copper pipes and riveted steel, with a stormy industrial skyline behind it. Pipes, Gauges and Goggles

The design is detailed. Every reel is separated by a vertical brass pipe, the whole grid hangs from a network of tubes, and the symbols are built from machine parts. The premium icons are a rocket shell inside a round porthole, a glowing blue crystal, a brass airship, and a pair of mechanical goggles; the card letters A, K, Q and J are drawn as metal letters held by gears and bolts. The wild is the inventor himself – a character with a flying helmet and goggles above a green WILD plate – and the bonus symbol is a red robotic mask with glowing eyes and the word BONUS underneath.

Stacked Wilds

The inventor wild is the symbol that shapes the game. In our screenshots he regularly lands in stacks of two or three, sometimes filling a whole reel. On a 25-line game a full wild reel touches a large share of the lines at once, so the base game’s bigger results come from these stacks rather than from any single symbol.
