Sticky Coin: Hold The Spin is a classic fruit slot from Gamzix, released on 18 July 2024. SlotCatalog describes the trigger as coins landing on each reel. Our captures match that: a Royal Coin on the middle reel together with silver coins worth 30.00 and 60.00 on the first reel and 60.00 on the third started the feature. The grid switched to red velvet, the fruit symbols cleared, the coins stayed where they were, and the counter showed 3 respins. Every new coin resets the counter to three.

In the next capture the Royal Coin had already collected the silver coins around it: it read 150.00, which is exactly 30 + 60 + 60.

Expand Coins, Heap of Coins and Jackpot Coins

The same capture showed a red arrow coin on the first reel, and the reel had grown upward with a glowing frame. SlotCatalog calls these Royal Expand Coins: they stretch the first and third reels by up to two positions, and each new position can bring a random prize between 1x and 15x or turn into a Jackpot Coin. More rows mean more room for coins – and more for the Royal Coin to collect.

SlotCatalog lists a further feature called Heap of Coins among the game’s mechanics. We did not see it trigger in our session, so we can only report that it exists.

What we did see were Jackpot Coins. The MINOR coin on the third reel in the base game shows that jackpot tiers are not locked inside the bonus: they can land on any spin, and in the bonus the extra rows added by Expand Coins can turn into Jackpot Coins as well.

45 Lines on a 3-5-3 Grid

The shape of the grid is what makes the 45 paylines possible. With five positions on the middle reel and three on each side, the lines can run straight across, dip into the extra middle rows or climb out of them, and a single symbol in the middle column often sits on many lines at once. That is why stacks of the same fruit on the middle reel produce the biggest base-game wins, as the bell spin in our session showed.

The 777 Wild replaces the fruit symbols to complete lines. In our captures it appeared on the middle and third reels and turned otherwise dead spins into small wins, such as the 60.00 lemon line.

The small and medium wins – 60, 105, 300, 480 and 600 – slowed the drift, and the 3,840 bell spin was by far the largest single result we captured.
