Striking Diamond 2 Overview

Striking Diamond 2 – Fugaso lists it in full as Striking Diamond 2: Running Wins – is a classic-style slot on a 3x3 grid with 5 lines, running a 96.12% RTP with high volatility and a maximum win of 20,000x the bet. All the figures below were read from demo play at a €10.00 stake.

Theme and Graphics

The cabinet is a fruit machine drawn in gold and chrome against a deep blue background streaked with light. A heap of loose gemstones spills over the top of the frame and behind the logo, which is the only nod to the diamond in the title until the cash symbols start landing.

The symbols are exactly what the format demands: cherries, plums, lemons, oranges, grapes, watermelons, a BAR BAR tile, a red 777 and a gold W wild. Nothing here is trying to surprise you.

The Four Jackpots

A column of plaques runs down the left of the cabinet at all times: GRAND 10,000.00, MAJOR 1,500.00, MINOR 500.00 and MINI 250.00.

At the €10.00 stake those are 1,000x, 150x, 50x and 25x. They are fixed rather than progressive, and one capture shows how they are awarded – a MINI plaque landing on the third reel as an ordinary symbol, alongside a 10.00 ingot and a 260.00 diamond.

★ Put the Grand against the game’s own ceiling and the picture is clear: 1,000x from the top jackpot, 20,000x as the advertised maximum. The jackpots are a mid-session reward here, not the prize.

What the Symbols Pay

With three rows and three reels there is only one length of combination, so the pay table is refreshingly short. At the €10.00 stake: three wilds pay 500.00, three 777s 300.00, three BAR BAR tiles 200.00.

Below those, watermelons and grapes return 160.00, oranges and lemons 40.00, and cherries and plums 10.00.

The wild carries one restriction, printed under its entry: substitutes all symbols with exception of Bonus symbols and Super Bonus symbols. It cannot buy you into the feature.

★ The spread is the thing to notice. The best combination pays 50x the stake and the worst pays the stake back exactly – a fifty-fold range across six symbol tiers, on a board where every win uses all three reels. That is where the high volatility rating comes from.

Five Lines on Nine Cells

Three reels of three symbols give nine positions, and Fugaso runs five fixed paylines across them. There is no adjustable line count and no ways-based alternative – every win in the game uses all three reels.

That is worth stating plainly because it changes how the cash symbols behave. On a 20-line video slot a single high-value tile can catch several lines at once; here it either completes one of five or it does not.

The Cash Symbols

Diamonds and gold ingots land carrying printed values, and in the captures those read 10.00, 100.00, 120.00, 170.00 and 260.00 – from the stake itself up to twenty-six times it.

They pay wherever they land rather than along a line, which is what turns a five-line classic slot into something with a ceiling worth mentioning.

The Running Wins Respins

When the feature starts the board turns deep red and every empty position fills with a lightning bolt. A panel on the right tracks RE-SPINS 3/3 above a running TOTAL WIN.

The captures show both ends of one round. At the start: a x2 wild in the top-left corner, a 120.00 diamond beside it, another x2 top-right, and the counter at 3/3 with nothing won yet. At the finish: a single 170.00 diamond in the centre of the grid, the counter at 0/3, and TOTAL WIN 170.00€.

★ Note what the x2 wilds did – nothing, on their own. Multiplier wilds in this round need a cash value in the same line to act on, and a nine-cell grid gives them very few chances. Seventeen times the stake from a completed round is a modest result, and an honest one.

Two Ways to Buy

The BUY button in the bottom-left corner opens a menu with two cards rather than a price list, and they do different jobs.

The first is BONUS UP: RUNNING SPINS, priced at 30.00€ – three times the stake – with the promise printed underneath: each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game. It is a toggle you activate, not a round you purchase.

The second is RUNNING WINS at 750.00€75x the bet – which enters straight into the bonus game.

★ Both cards carry a small volatility meter that shifts to the right as the option gets more aggressive, which is a genuinely useful piece of interface. The gap between them is the choice the game asks you to make: pay 3x for better odds over many spins, or 75x to skip the wait entirely.

The Boost Feature

The pay table carries a third section below the symbols, headed BOOST FEATURE, showing a diamond marked x25 resting on the same heap of loose gems that sits above the reels.

It is the multiplier side of the cash-collect design: the values printed on the diamonds are not the whole story, and a boosted stone is worth many times what its face value suggests. At the €10.00 stake a x25 boost applied to the 260.00 diamond seen in the captures would be worth 6,500.00 – 650x the bet from one symbol.

What the Session Produced

Base-game results in the captures were 80.00, 100.00, 160.00 and 260.00 against the €10.00 stake – eight, ten, sixteen and twenty-six times the bet.

The 160.00 board is the clearest example of how the game actually pays: two watermelons across the middle row with the gold W completing the line on the third reel.

The balance ran 2,620.00, then 1,830.00, 1,820.00, up to 2,150.00 and back down to 1,590.00. At an 11% hit frequency roughly one spin in nine pays anything at all, which is exactly what that sequence of numbers describes.

Who Should Play It

Striking Diamond 2 suits players who want a traditional three-reel machine with modern cash-collect mechanics bolted on. The pay table fits on one screen, the jackpots are always visible, and the two-card buy menu gives you a cheap option as well as an expensive one – which is rarer than it should be.

The 11% hit frequency is the warning. Eight spins in nine return nothing on a game whose best ordinary combination pays 50x, so the balance moves in long slides punctuated by the occasional cash symbol. If that rhythm suits you, 96.12% is a fair return for it.
