Super China Pots Overview

Super China Pots is a 3 Oaks slot on a five-by-three grid with 25 paylines, four jackpot tiers and three named features hanging above the reels as golden pots: BOOST, DOUBLE and MULTI.

Its top jackpot is also its ceiling. The Grand pays 2,000x the bet, and 2,000x is the published maximum win – landing it is the end of the road rather than a step along it.

Theme and Graphics

The background is a violet night sky with stars and drifting cloud, and above the reels sits a large cauldron heaped with gold coins and gemstones, lit from within. Three smaller pots hang beneath it, each labelled on a coloured plate: green for BOOST, red for DOUBLE, purple for MULTI.

The reel frame is red lacquer with gold corner brackets. The symbols are a woman in red and gold court dress marked WILD, a golden tiger, a money tree, a gold ingot on blue, a lantern, and card letters in red and gold.

The four jackpot plates run down the left in gold, orange, yellow and blue, with a red BONUS button above them. All figures below come from demo play at bets of 4.00 and 10.00.

The Jackpots Scale with the Bet

The demo captures the plates at both stakes, which settles how they are calculated.

At 10.00: Grand 20,000.00, Major 1,000.00, Minor 300.00, Mini 150.00. At 4.00: Grand 8,000.00, Major 400.00, Minor 120.00, Mini 60.00.

Divide each by its stake and the ladder is identical: 2,000x, 100x, 30x and 15x. These are fixed multiples rather than fixed cash sums, so the deal is the same whatever you play for.

The steps are steep at the top. Mini to Minor doubles, Minor to Major multiplies by more than three, and Major to Grand multiplies by twenty. Three tiers a good round can produce, and one that ends the game.

The Paytable

At the 4.00 stake the wild leads at 40.00 for five, 12.00 for four and 2.40 for three – that is 10x, 3x and 0.6x the bet. The tiger follows at 32.00 / 8.00 / 1.60, or 8x at the top.

Below them the lantern, the money tree and the gold ingot share a single rung at 20.00 / 4.00 / 0.80 – 5x, 1x and 0.2x – and the ace, king, queen and jack share another at 8.00 / 1.60 / 0.80, topping out at twice the stake.

So seven of the nine paying symbols are interchangeable in two groups, and the game really has four prize levels: the wild at 10x, the tiger at 8x, the three objects at 5x and the royals at 2x.

The demo’s base results at the 10.00 stake reflect it: 6.00, 28.00, 50.00 and 80.00, or 0.6x, 2.8x, 5x and 8x. The best of them came from a board carrying four tigers; the worst returned six tenths of the spin cost.

The Bonus Round Doubles the Board

Here is where the “Super” in the title earns itself. The feature does not run on the five-by-three grid – it runs on two of them, stacked.

The demo catches a completed round at the 4.00 stake. The upper panel carries coins reading 4.00, 20.00, 12.00, 12.00, 2.00, 20.00, 6.00, 20.00, 20.00, 48.00, 20.00 and 4.00. The lower panel carries 16.00, 16.00, 2.00, 20.00, 2.00, 20.00, 40.00, 40.00 and 40.00, plus two MINI x6 plates.

The total printed beneath the two boards is 1,406.00. Against the 4.00 stake that is 351 times the bet, from a round that filled most of thirty positions rather than fifteen.

Note the MINI plates carrying x6. The jackpot tiers arrive as symbols during the round and can carry their own multiplier, which is how a Mini worth 15x contributes far more than that to a finished board.

The Buy Menu: Four Options, Two Dimensions

The BONUS button opens a panel unlike most. Instead of a single row of prices it offers a two-by-two grid, and the two axes are independent.

The left half is the BONUS GAME; the right half is the SUPER BONUS GAME, headed HIGHER BONUS SYMBOL VALUES. Within each, one card offers 1, 2 or 3 random bonus features and the other offers 3 bonus features guaranteed.

At the 4.00 bet the four prices are 320.00, 1,000.00, 600.00 and 1,600.00 – that is 80x, 250x, 150x and 400x the stake.

Read them as a grid and the pricing is legible. Guaranteeing all three features roughly triples the price on the standard round and multiplies it by 2.7 on the Super. Upgrading to Super costs 1.9 times on the random option and 1.6 times on the guaranteed one.

So the two upgrades are priced independently and honestly, and a player can buy either, both or neither. It is a more transparent menu than the usual two-button arrangement, and it lets you pay for exactly the thing you want.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

The RTP is 95.71%, a little under the modern standard. Volatility is rated High and the maximum win is 2,000x the bet.

High is right, and the two halves of the game explain why. Twenty-five lines over a paytable where four royals share a 2x rung produce frequent results worth a fraction of the stake – the demo’s 6.00 on a 10.00 spin is typical. The feature, on a doubled board with jackpot plates carrying multipliers, produced 351x.

That the Grand and the maximum win are the same number is worth restating. There is no hidden ceiling above the jackpot ladder here and no gap to be closed by stacking multipliers – the top plate on the left of the screen is the most this game will ever pay.
