The Boots Wild and the Crown Scatter

The boots wild substitutes for the regular symbols to complete ways wins; in our Queens spin it sat on the fourth reel and linked the Qs on either side. The crown scatter works differently: it does not need to line up, it pays on its own, and three of them start the free games. Because the scatter pays in addition to any ways wins, a trigger spin can already return something before the bonus begins – in our case $300.

What the Numbers Tell You

The paytable is fairly flat at the top. Five cats on a single way pay 10x the bet, and the princess 6.7x, so the big results come from multiple ways rather than one premium line: two cats on each of the first two reels, for example, would already create four combinations. The card symbols are close together in value – a five-of-a-kind Ace pays only twice as much as a five-of-a-kind 10 – which keeps the base game steady.
