The Link Feature

Six lightning coins start the respins. The grid clears to the coins, and a counter on the right tracks the respins left out of 3. In our round the coins carried values of €40, €80, €160, €240, €320 and €480 – from 0.5x up to 6x the bet.

Empty positions can also show multipliers. We saw 7X, 3X and two 2X cells on the board in the same round. By the end of the round most of the grid was filled.

What the Base Game Did

Our base-game wins ranged from a small €20 line of cougars to €580.00 (7.25x), when a full reel of wolves lined up with cougars, horses and kings. A pair of stacked wolf columns with a buffalo paid €180, and three jacks with the wolves paid €200.

How the Multipliers Work

The multiplier cells are the most interesting part of the round. In our capture the top-left position showed a 7X while it was still empty; by the end of the round a coin had landed there and read €1,120.00 – exactly 7 times a €160 coin. In the second column a €320 coin sat under a 2X marker, and at the end of the round the same position read €640.

That is our reading of the screens rather than a rule stated in the demo, but it fits every number we saw: the multiplier waits on an empty position and applies to the coin that fills it. A 7X on a high coin is where the big link rounds come from.

When the respins run out, the coins are tallied into a counter above the reels, replacing the logo. Our capture caught the counter at €2,900.44 while the coins were still being added up, with twelve coins on the board including the €1,120 and €640 multiplied ones. The coins alone were worth well over €3,000 at the €80 bet, so this round finished around 40x or more.

Stacked Wolves in the Base Game

The wolf wild often lands in stacks. In one capture it covered the whole first reel, and in another it filled most of the second reel. A full reel of wolves turns every line that passes through it into a potential winner, which is how our €580.00 spin came about: a column of three wolves, cougars and horses on the next reels, and kings across the top.

The premium animals pay well for five, but the step down is steep: four buffaloes pay €200 and three only €40 at the €80 bet.

How the Session Went

The balance tells the story of a medium-high volatility game. Our captures started at a demo balance of €5,540 and slid to €5,440, then €3,200 and finally €2,500 at the €80 bet before the six lightning coins arrived. The link round then did the heavy lifting: after it, and after the €580 base-game spin, the balance stood at €6,400.
