Train Raiders: Hold & Win is a Wild West slot from Gamebeat, released on 25 April 2026. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 30 paylines, returns 96.17% at medium-high volatility, and takes bets from 0.10 to 200. The top prize is 5,000x the bet. Stacked wilds carry the base game, and a Hold and Win round with coin values and reel multipliers is where the bigger wins are made.

All Aboard The Freight Train

The base game takes place in front of a pale green railway wagon. Faded stencil letters on its wooden planks read “Railway Express Agency” on one side and “Denver Rio Grande” on the other, and two slatted windows frame the reels. The “Train Raiders – Hold&Win” logo hangs above the grid on a wooden sign in the colours of an old western poster.

The characters are drawn in a friendly cartoon style. There is a bandit with a big orange hat and a moustache, a red-haired cowgirl in a pink hat, a pair of cowboy boots with spurs and a revolver with two bullets. The low symbols are the letters A, K, Q and J, plus a green 10, all painted in wooden, wanted-poster lettering. The wild is an old, white-bearded train robber with a pink hat and glasses, framed in gold with WILD written underneath, and the bonus symbols are red leather coin purses stuffed with gold.

The controls are clean: the bet on the bottom left, the win in the middle, the balance on the right, a big round play button on the right side of the screen, and a turbo button and autoplay below it.

The Paytable

At a bet of 50, the wild is also the best paying symbol: 2,500 for five (50x), 1,000 for four and 500 for three. The bandit pays 500, 100 and 25, the cowgirl 300, 75 and 20, the boots 250, 60 and 15, and the revolver 200, 50 and 15. Among the letters, the A pays 160, 40 and 10, K and Q 120, 30 and 10, and the J 80, 20 and 5.

Five bandits on a line are worth 10x the bet, five wilds 50x. With 30 lines, most wins are built from several lines at once, and that is what our screenshots show: 100 for cowgirls stacked on four reels, 115 for three bandits helped by two wilds, and 40 for a small hit that landed with a wild on the middle reel.

Stacked Wilds

The old robber does not just land on one position. In one of our spins the wild filled two rows each on the first, third and fifth reels at the same time, and the spin paid 170 – 3.4x the bet. The game’s feature list includes sticky wilds and random extra wilds, and the wilds in our screenshots often appear in pairs or stacks rather than alone.

The Hold And Win Trigger

The bonus starts when enough coin purses land. In our trigger spin there were six purses on the grid – three on the first reel, one on the second and two on the fourth. The screen then moves inside the train: the wagon turns into a purple passenger car with arched windows and curtains, and the purses stay on the grid while the other positions are cleared.

Above each reel a small panel shows a reel multiplier, starting at X1 on every reel. In our round a giant money bag also appeared, covering four positions in the bottom right corner, and a star counter next to the play button showed 2.

Coins, Multipliers And A Golden Hat

Once the respins begin, the purses open into coins. Silver coins showed 100 and 200, gold coins 300 and 500 – that is 2x, 4x, 6x and 10x the bet. By the end of our round the multipliers above the reels read X1, X2, X2, X2 and X1, so three reels had doubled.

A golden cowboy hat also dropped onto one of the coins on the last reel during the round. The total at the top of the screen had reached 2,250 by then, or 45x the bet, and the star counter had gone down to 0. With coins worth up to 10x each, multipliers on the reels and up to 15 positions to fill, it is easy to see how this round reaches the bigger prizes.

What The Numbers Mean In Practice

The paytable is generous with the wild but modest elsewhere. Three of a kind of the letters pays between 0.1x and 0.2x the bet, so a single low line barely registers. The bandit and the cowgirl only become interesting with five on a line, and a full line of five wilds is the best regular win at 50x. That puts most of the 5,000x potential into the Hold and Win round.

The bet range is wide. At the minimum of 0.10 a spin costs next to nothing, and at the maximum of 200 the 5,000x cap would be worth 1,000,000. The medium-high volatility means that the size of your bet should match the length of the session you have in mind – the bonus can take a while to arrive.

Balance And Volatility

Our screenshots also show the swings you can expect from a medium-high volatility game. During the base game the balance slowly fell from 9,850 to 9,340, with only small wins of 40 to 100 along the way. After the Hold and Win round it was back above 11,400. That is typical for this type of slot: long stretches of modest line wins, and then one bonus that makes the session.

More From Gamebeat

Gamebeat builds its games around clear themes and bonus rounds you can follow easily. If you enjoy this one, Thor Power is another Gamebeat title in our catalogue, with a Norse theme instead of the Wild West.

Who It Is For

Train Raiders: Hold & Win is a good fit for players who like western themes, cartoon characters and coin bonuses with multipliers. The 96.17% RTP is solid, the wide bet range suits small and large budgets, and the bonus does not need a feature buy to feel rewarding. Players who dislike waiting for a bonus should know that the base game wins are mostly small.
