Vampire Joker Overview

Vampire Joker is a gothic horror slot from Amigo Gaming, released in October 2024. A grinning, purple-clad joker rules a candle-lit castle, and the game plays on a classic 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines. Amigo lists the volatility as medium and the top multiplier as x1,600. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100 per spin. Amigo Gaming does not publish the RTP on its own game page.

The feature set is short and clear: an expanding wild, a Vampire Treasure Pick Game played with coffins, and 10 free games in which a wild is guaranteed on every spin.

The Paytable

The rules state that all prizes in the paytable are shown for the currently selected bet. At a €100 stake the values for five, four and three of a kind are:

• Vampire Joker: €25,000 / €2,500 / €750 – and it is the only symbol that also pays for two, €100
• Vampire woman: €7,500 / €1,500 / €500
• Red gem and candelabra: €2,500 / €750 / €250
• Hourglass and poisoned apple: €1,500 / €500 / €100

Measured against the bet, five jokers on a line are worth 250x, the vampire woman 75x, and the gem and candles 25x. The card royals (A, K, Q, J) fill out the lower end of the reels.

The Expanding Wild

The WILD is a tall red symbol that covers its whole reel. In our screenshots it appears on the second and third reels, filling all three positions and connecting symbols on either side. The line numbers under the reels show how much it helps: with one expanded wild the game paid €350 on three lines in one spin, combining Ks, Js and apples around it.

What Our Spins Showed

We played at a €100 bet, and the wins match the paytable exactly.

One spin put two Vampire Jokers on the first two reels and an expanded WILD on the third: €750 on one line – exactly the three-joker prize. Another placed a vampire woman on reel one, the wild on reel two and a second vampire woman on reel three: €500, the three-of-a-kind value for her. Neither needed more than a single line, which shows how much the top two symbols carry the game.

The Scatter

The BONUS symbol is the castle itself – a purple fortress under a night sky with a gold BONUS label. The ticker above the reels spells out its rule: “3 or more scatter symbols trigger free games”. Scatters count anywhere on the reels rather than on a payline, and their win is added to the line wins of the same spin. In our session three of them paid 1x the bet in addition to starting the feature.

The Vampire Treasure Pick Game

The rules describe the Pick Game in detail. When it triggers, the reels stop and any wins are paid first. Then coffins move vertically to cover their whole reels and become clickable. You pick one of them, and it reveals 10x, 30x or 50x the total bet.

Our screenshot shows the moment of choice: three red coffins stand on reels one, three and five, each marked PICK’EM, under the instruction “Pick a coffin!”. The middle one has been opened and shows X50 – the top prize of the round, worth €5,000 at the €100 stake.

Free Games With a Wild on Every Spin

The castle-shaped BONUS scatter triggers the free games. Three of them landed diagonally on reels one to three in our session, paying €100 (1x) on their own, and the game announced “10 Free Games! Wild on every spin” in a splash of blood.

The rule behind that message: during the free games, a WILD symbol is guaranteed to appear on each spin. The free games use the same bet as the spin that triggered them, and they can be won again during the feature. On the first free game our screen showed the expanded wild on reel two, hourglasses around it and a win counter already running on all ten lines.

How the Numbers Fit Together

Putting the paytable next to the bonus values shows where the game’s money sits. The best single line – five jokers – is worth 250x. The best coffin is worth 50x, which is more than a five-of-a-kind line of any symbol except the joker and the vampire woman. And the free games add a guaranteed wild to every one of their ten spins, which is the most reliable way to build several line wins in a row.

Amigo’s published ceiling is x1,600. That is well above anything a single line can pay, so reaching it needs several strong lines at once – typically a wild or two in the free games combining with the joker or the vampire woman across multiple paylines. A screen full of jokers on all ten lines would add up to more than the ceiling, so the stated maximum acts as the effective limit.

The Ticker

A narrow banner above the reels scrolls the rules while you play. In our screenshots it read, among other lines, “At least one wild symbol is guaranteed to appear on each reels’ spin”, “…the Vampire Treasure Pick Game” and “3 or more scatter symbols trigger free games”.

The 10 Paylines

The lines page shows ten fixed patterns: the three rows, two V shapes and five zig-zags across the 5x3 grid. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, only the highest win is paid per line, and scatter wins are added to line wins. Ten lines is a small number, which is why the expanding wild matters so much – one full reel of wild touches every line that crosses it.

Graphics and Atmosphere

The reels stand in a gothic hall with purple curtains, arched windows and red candles on the pillars. The symbols are painted in rich reds and purples: the joker in his harlequin collar, the pale vampire woman, a bitten red apple, a blood-filled hourglass and the castle on a purple night sky. A scrolling ticker above the reels explains the features while you play.
