The Wild and the Expanding Wild

The Wild, a gold sheriff’s star, substitutes for every symbol except the Scatter and appears only on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels.

A special type of Wild also appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. When it lands, it expands to cover the entire reel, substituting for all regular symbols in every position. Because all 10 paylines pass through the three middle reels, a fully wild reel takes part in every line at once – and two or three of them on the same spin can turn a quiet screen into a multi-line win.

What a Full Wild Reel Does

The expanding wild is the game’s real feature, and it is worth looking at what it does on paper. One full wild reel in the middle gives every line a guaranteed wild position. Two of them next to each other mean that any matching pair on the remaining reels of a line can complete a four- or five-of-a-kind. With all three middle reels covered, a line needs only matching symbols on reels 1 and 5 to pay as a five-of-a-kind – and with the gunslinger on both ends, that is the route to the game’s top wins.

The Horseshoe Scatter

The golden horseshoe is the Scatter. It does not need to land on a payline: it pays when enough Scatters appear anywhere on the reels, and its win is added to any line wins from the same spin. Unlike in many modern slots, the Scatter does not open a bonus round here – it is simply an extra way to win.

Paylines

The 10 fixed lines include the three straight rows plus V-shapes, inverted V-shapes, diagonal “steps” and zigzags, as shown on the payline map in the game rules. Wins are paid for matching symbols on a payline, and only the highest win per line counts.

Maximum Win and the Payout Cap

The listed maximum is 2,666x the bet. The game’s limits screen also shows a maximum payout of 100,000 per round in the currency played. At most stakes this makes no difference, but at the very top it does: 2,666x of a 100 stake would be 266,600, so at bets above roughly 37.50 the money cap is reached before the multiplier cap. It is a detail worth knowing if you play at high stakes.
